Pristine Paradise is a dive resort in the togean islands on Una Una island, in Sulawesi. It is Dutch/Indonesian owned and managed and is developed in close cooperation with the local community.
We currently have eight cozy wooden bungalows close to the beach that all have running water, king-size bed, bathroom and terrace with hammock. Three meals a day and free coffee, tea, water are included.
Located in front of the acknowledged best dive sites in the Togean Islands, we ensure the perfect diving experience by employing only professional and experienced people with deep knowledge of the local submarine environment.
UNA UNA ISLAND
Located at the tip of the Tomini Bay, Una Una is the most remote island of the Togian Archipelago. The island is still very much untouched by tourism, no paved roads, motorbikes only and small villages made up of small timber houses. It offers the real local experience with a very friendly small community atmosphere.
PRISTINE PARADISE BUNGALOWS
We offer four different types of rooms: dorm room (Rp 225.000), standard bungalow (Rp 275.000), deluxe bungalow (Rp 450.000) and VIP bungalow (Rp 650.000). Prices are per person per night. All rooms are close to the sea, have a hammock and include three meals a day plus free coffee, tea and water.
DIVERS PARADISE
Due to the remoteness and almost uninhabited state of the island in the last decades, the corals are untouched and thriving, attracting a diverse marine life with massive schools of fish. The waters around Una Una are home to a huge variety of reef formations, containing over 35 named dive sites.
AMAZING MARINE LIFE OF UNA UNA ISLAND
The island of Una Una is situated within the global hotspot of marine biodiversity known as the coral triangle, an area covering 1.6% of the planets oceanic area but containing 76% of all known coral and 37% of known reef fish species in the world.
How to get to Una Una Island / Togean Islands
It’s not the easiest place to reach, but believe us: it’s worth it!
We can help arrange pick-up from Wakai, the main village in the Togian Islands (let us know), you can arrange a charter boat once in Wakai, or take a public boat to Una Una leaving every Sunday, Tuesday, Friday from Wakai around 8 or 9 in the morning. To get to Wakai, you have a couple of options:
via Ampana
Every day at 9 and at 12 o’clock a speedboat leaves Ampana. Transfer takes about one hour 20 min.
via Gorontalo
A night ferry goes to and from Gorontalo three times a week. Cabins with bunk bed(s) available.
Alternative routes
There are several alternatives to reach Wakai/ Una Una, including direct charters from the mainland to our resort.
